The principal treatment methods are three:

The most important moment to decide the best therapy is that of the initial diagnosis. To make a correct diagnosis is essential today executing some echographic examinations: the Echo-doppler or the Echo-colour-doppler (totally painless).
These tests allow to the Specialist to study the veins and the direction of blood flow in a vein.
Today the old doppler CW is considered useful only for the initial diagnosis (1st level exam)
