WHAT ARE SPIDER VEINS?

The so-called "spider veins"( or telangiectasies, the correct term) are a result of smaller vein dilatation and they are most often seen on the legs’ skin.

These are not only an aesthetic problem but they are the sign of a venous insufficiency at the initial stages.

Often capillaries appear together with larger varices and a sense of restless in the legs ( the so-called " Syndrome of restless legs").
